Deactivated Winchester M1894 Commemorative

Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Deactivated Winchester M1894 .30-30 Calibre Rifle in excellent deactivated condition. This is Winchesters Apache Carbine from 1974. Only 8,500 were ever made. The Winchester carbines and rifles are without doubt one of the most recognisable guns in the world and have been in constant production since 1873 until this day. They were redesigned in 1894 to have much stronger actions, to handle the new smokeless powder cartridges. They have been made in hundreds of calibres and variations of barrel length and furniture that you would need a whole book to list them all. The action was refined by John Moses Browning and still works well enough that there will probably be lever actions still rolling off the production lines in another hundred years
