Deactivated Steyr MPi 81 SMG

Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Deactivated Steyr MPi 81 9mm Para Sub Machine Gun in very good condition, with sling. New spec but with moving cocking handle, trigger and safety. The Steyr MPi 81 is exactly the same gun as the earlier MPi 69, except the front sling swivel was moved to the barrel, instead of being attached to the cocking lever. The Steyr MPi 69 appeared in the mid 1960s and like all Steyr products was exceedingly well made, reliable and accurate. It was not particularly innovative however, and in design concept was basically an Uzi and in design construction was an Ingram, albeit a much nicer product when compared to both. They were adopted by several countries, including Austria and Saudi Arabia and are still in service all over the world. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
