Deactivated Steyr Mannlicher M1886 11x58mmR Straight-Pull Rifle, in poor deactivated condition with replacement dummy bolt and small parts missing. Latest EU spec, so moving trigger and bolt, but non firing action. Needs a bit of TLC, but a good project. Sold as seen. The Repeating Rifle Model 1886 commonly known as Mannlicher Model 1886 was a late 19th-century Austrian straight-pull bolt-action rifle, adopted in 1886. It used a wedge-lock straight pull action bolt. It was the first straight-pull bolt-action service rifle of any nation. It is consequently renowned for combining a high rate of fire with reliability and sturdiness and they had a reputation for accuracy also. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
