Rare Deactivated Mayer and Son .22 Magnum Revolver in excellent deactivated condition and with original box. Mayer and Son Revolvers were made in a variety of calibres from the mid 1960s onwards.. They were full steel revolvers that were very well made and accurate and unusual in reverting to a break-top design. The build quality and finish was excellent and they made good, fun target or field guns and many were used as home defence weapons. The fact that they could also be fired with standard .22LR ammunition was also a bonus. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
