Deactivated Israeli FN Model D 7.62mm Nato Light Machine Gun. In excellent deactivated condition, with full moving parts and Israeli military stamps. The FN Model D LMG was an evolution of the BAR and improved on the original, in that it had a quick change barrel, lighter bipod and an easier to use pistol grip. It came out before WWII but production was halted until after the war. They were sold all over the world, but were particularly successful in South America. They were a very reliable design and can still be found in third world conflicts around the globe. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
