Confederate Remington 1858 9mm Blank Firing Revolver. Pietta manufacture in very good condition, with full working action and complete with high quality William Bonny leather holster and belt. The Remington 1858 Revolver was a direct competitor to the Colts of the day and is considered by experts to be the hands down better gun. It was stronger and more reliable and also far quicker to reload. They were the preferred pistol in the American Civil War and many southern gun makers copied the Remington’s design, although captured originals were always the preferred choice. Pre 1870 Blank Firer. VCR Act does not apply.
