WW1 German Gr.Z.92 inert fuze in good condition.
The Gr Z 92 percussion fuze was secured with a two rods safety pin, to be removed before the shot. This liberated the movements of the graze arming system, whose massive mobile graze pellet (bearing a primer) slided back under the discharge momentum action and hit a fixed percussion pin protected at rest by a tulip spring cap having the shape of a crown and flattened under the pellet pressure, setting fire to a big gunpowder pellet. This fuze was designed for the high explosive ('Gr' = Granate - Obus explosif) or gaz heavy shells of the 15cm sFH, 15cm sFH02, 15cm sFH13 et 15cm sFH13/L17 heavy field howitzers 21cm Br Mrs. (bronze), 21cm Mrs. (M1902), 21cm Mrs. (M1910) and 21cm lg.Mrs. (1916) mortars
