Russian Mosin Nagant 'Obrez' Partisan Cut down Rifle - RARE Battlefield Relic (60) (T/C) *

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Russian Mosin Nagant Partisan Cut Down Rifle Battlefield Relic.
Russian partisans used rifles with their barrels cut down and the buttstock cut off, to make a concealable weapon in lieu of a proper pistol. Mosin rifles were fairly common, handguns much more difficult to obtain, so the Obrez was a way for folks who needed a sneaky gun (be they criminals, partisans, or revolutionaries) to conceal under a coat.
This battlefield relic was found in the Kurland Pocket (Latvia).
It has been water washed only, has sustained some battlefield damage, but is in solid condition and will clean up more.
It will look fantastic in any WW2 collection.
Battlefield relics are very collectable and desirable because 'they were there.'
