Replica Owen Sub Machine Gun in excellent condition. Full steel and plastic (grips) replica, with full working parts. The Owen gun, known officially as the Owen machine carbine, was an Australian SMG designed in 1939. It was the only entirely Australian-designed and constructed service submachine gun of World War II and was used by the Australian Army from 1942 until 1971. Aussie Soldiers loved them for their extreme reliability and ruggedness, and this was mirrored by other foreign troops who used them, including the British and New Zealand SAS in Malaysia and Borneo, and Green Beret Special Forces in Vietnam.
