Obsolete Calibre French Turbiaux .32 Rimfire Calibre Palm Pistol in very good, original condition, with full working action. The Protector Palm Pistol was first patented and built in France in 1882. Later in 1883 it was built in the USA as The Protector by Minneapolis Firearms Co. Most versions were nickel plated to prevent corrosion. It was a simple mechanical mechanism that fired and reloaded the cartridge from the internal rotary magazine when the palm of the hand was squeezed shut, hence its name. They were very popular with the French Resistance, because of their concealability, size and ease of use and were being carried right on up until the end of WWII. Obsolete calibre, no license required.
