Obsolete Calibre Antique Swiss Milbank-Amsler 1863/67 10.5mm Calibre Rifle in very good, original condition, with very good bore, lovely wood and complete with correct bayonet. The Infanteriegewehr 1863 (Infantry rifle 1863) was the first Swiss army service rifle to feature a rifled barrel. Like other Swiss infantry weapons of the period, it was retrofitted with a Milbank-Amsler breech loading system from 1867 onwards. They were in service until the 1890s and like all Swiss military weapons, were made to the most exacting standards. Obsolete Calibre, no license required.
