Obsolete Calibre Spencer Carbine SN. 9864 -
Obsolete Calibre Spencer .52 RF Calibre Carbine in very good condition for age throughout, with strong, solid action and 1864 serial number. The Spencer was the world's first military metallic cartridge repeating rifle, and over 200,000 examples were manufactured in the United States by the Spencer Repeating Rifle Co. and Burnside Rifle Co. between 1860 and 1869. They saw action with US troops in the American Civil War, mostly by the Union side, and the Indian Wars, including the Battle of Little Bighorn. They were also used extensively in Central and South America, as well as Asia. An absolute classic. Obsolete calibre, no licence required.
