Quick Overview

Obsolete Calibre Colt 1877 .41 Colt Calibre Thunderer Revolver. In very good, original condition, with strong, full working action and very good bore. The serial number puts the production date at 1892. The 1877 Colt Thunderer was introduced in 1877 and continued on until 1909. It was Colts first attempt at a double action design and draw its look from the earlier 1873 Peacemaker. It was made famous by Billy the Kid, who was fond of his, as he could kill people faster than with a single action! It was the gun he had with him when he was shot by Pat Garret. A real piece of wild west firearms history. Obsolete calibre antique, no licence required.
