Inert French Army AA-52 Cutaway 2.1 Scale Trainer. In very good condition, with full working action. Complete with manual and spares. This is a double normal size cutaway classroom trainer – almost six feet long. They were made bigger than normal so that recruits at the rear of the room could see what the instructor was doing. A very rare piece. The AA-52 General Purpose Machine Gun entered service with the French armed forces in 1952, and is still in service in a vehicle mounted or sustained fire role. They are mostly made from sheet steel, and are therefore quite lightweight for a GPMG. They are also reliable, and seen service all over the world with the French Military and French foreign Legion, as well as France’s numerous colonies. They were also sold to other nations, such as Argentina and the Republic of Ireland. Inert gun, no licence required.
