The Mauser C96 was the first successful production semi-automatic pistol in the world and were made to old world standards of engineering and design. There is only one screw in the entire weapon - the grips. Every other part fits together like a jigsaw puzzle. They saw use all over the world, from the Boar War, right on up into the 1970s in Third World hot spots. Fantastic German engineering and a totally classic design. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
