The M37 Breda entered service in 1937 and was the mainstay Italian machine gun in WWII and well into the early 1960s. It was fed from a twenty round stripper clip, borrowed from the Hotchkiss design and like most weapons of this type was an extremely rugged and dependable weapon. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
