Deactivated Winchester Stealth II 7.62mm Tactical Sniper Rifle. In excellent deactivated condition, with Steel Suppressor (removable) and thread protector. Hammer Cold Forged Barrel and Zrak (Zeis) 6 x 42 Power Military Reticule Telescopic Sight (excellent, crystal clear optics) and Black Tactical Stock. This is an ex Serbian Police SWAT rifle. The Winchester Model 70 first appeared in 1936 and they are still in production to this day in a multitude of versions. They are generally considered to be one of the finest mass production bolt action rifles in the world. Many, like this one, form the basis for specialised custom police and military sniper rifles capable of extreme accuracy at extended ranges. Various versions have served the US Army and Marine Corp. from Vietnam to the present day. These very rarely come along, as they are all still in use and the owners love them. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
