.
Deactivated Wilkinson Webley Model 1910 .450/.455 Calibre Revolver. In good, original overall deactivated condition. The ejector mechanism is missing a spring so the star plate will not lower in the fully open position, hence price. The Wilkinson Webley Revolver was first introduced in 1905, and stayed in production until 1914. It differed from ordinary Webleys of the period, in that it mainly had a longer seven and a half inch barrel, a longer grip and adjustable rear sight. They were used all over the empire and were popular private purchase items for officers in all the Commonwealth countries until the end of World War One. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
