The Schermuly Riot Gun is a single shot riot gun that saw extensive service with the British Army during the troubles in Northern Ireland and elsewhere. The gun has a removable buttstock, can be fitted with several different barrel lengths and also had an adapter to fire shotgun cartridges. They also possessed the clever feature of being able to be fitted to the machine gun mounts of various armoured vehicles used for internal security applications, such as the Saracen APCs.
