Deactivated Webley Green .455/ .476 Calibre Revolver. In fair deactivated condition with ejector mechanism and RHS grip partially missing. The Webley Green Revolver was first introduced in 1885, and stayed in production until 1912. It differed from ordinary Webley’s of the period, in that it mainly had a longer seven and a half inch barrel, a longer grip and adjustable rear sight. They were used all over the empire and were popular private purchase items for officers in all the Commonwealth countries until the end of World War One. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
