Deactivated Russian Viking MP446 9mm Para Pistol in near mint condition and complete with spare magazine, manual and box. The Viking is the civilian version of the new Russian Federation Mp443 Grakh (Rook) service pistol. The Grakh entered service with special units of the Russian army, MVD and police in 2002 and by now is the standard issue pistol of the entire Russian armed forces. It was designed to fire the high velocity, armour piercing 7N21 9mm ammunition, which is very high pressure and would destroy most normal 9mm parabellum pistols in short order! Not only is it very robustly made, but it is also very reliable and like most Russian military weapons, it has been tested to destruction. It can be carried cocked and locked or with the hammer down for a double action first shot. The external rebounding hammer has protective `ears’ on the rear of the slide to prevent snagging, as well as an accessory rail built into the frame. A rare gun to find outside Russia. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
