Deactivated Very Rare Chinese Type 82 Light machine gun, in excellent deactivated condition and deactivated with full working action, drum magazine, full matching numbers and correct sling. The Type 82 LMG entered service with CHICOM forces in 1984 and is still their squad level LMG. It is basically an updated version of the soviet RPK LMG. The Type 82 has a heavier barrel and longer butt, as well as a carry handle, improved gas piston and new type safety catch. It is designed to fire in the full automatic mode only. They make good platoon level light support weapons as they have greater range and accuracy than the standard rifle. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
