The Rolling Block Rifle first appeared in 1867 and they are still being made as sports shooters to this day. They were the pinnacle of single shot, metallic cartridge simplicity and were made in a multitude of calibres, for sporting, hunting and military purposes and can be found in a hundred varieties around the world.
