The Star SA pistol was one of a range of new Star handguns when the factory modernised in the early 1960s. It is a very popular target pistol in Europe and is of excellent quality, like all Star weapons of the time. It is very ergonomic and feels very comfortable in the hand. Also, it naturally points to the target, making accurate shooting more instinctive. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
