Deactivated Suomi KP31 SMG SN. KPSM ^
Deactivated Suomi KP31 9mm Sub Machine Gun in excellent, original deactivated condition. Latest EU Spec, with moving cocking handle (under spring pressure), moving trigger, and safety selector. The Suomi KP-31 first entered service with the Finnish Army in 1931 and continued in service until the end of the 1980s. It was of excellent quality and the fit and finish were second to none. They were both extremely reliable and accurate and could function without lubrication in sub-zero temperatures. They made use of the best materials and simply would not stop working, even after the harshest combat. The drum magazine design was stolen by the Soviets for use on the PPSH-41 after they went up against the Suomi in the Winter War. Probably the finest SMG in use during WWII and rare to find deactivated. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly. Please note, this is a batch item and may vary slightly to the picture.
