Deactivated Springfield .30/06 Calibre M1903 Rifle in very good condition. Comes with rare foresight hood. The M1903 Springfield was America's answer to the Mauser and when all is said and done it is a copy of the Mauser action. Saying that, it was an excellent rifle, and was famed for its superb accuracy. The troops who used it had nothing but praise for it and they still turn up today, especially in central and South America. These are still popular today as target rifles and are one of the best looking bolt actions out there. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
