Deactivated Smith and Wesson Model 627 .357 Stainless Steel Magnum Revolver in excellent deactivated condition, with rare unfluted cylinder, custom hardwood grips and 5 inch, full underlug barrel. The Model 627 is the stainless version of the 27. The Model 27 was first introduced by Smith and Wesson in 1935, when it was known as the .357 Registered Magnum. It was the first gun in the world to chamber the brand new .357 Magnum ammunition and there were long waiting lists for it until it went out of production, because of WWII. It was reintroduced in 1953 and is still in production today. These big guns can handle the most vicious +P+ .357 Magnum loads with ease and are twice as strong as other designs. Big, but beautiful, it is one of the best looking of the Smith and Wesson range. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold Lon don or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
