Deactivated Smith and Wesson Model 57 Magnum SN. 2929 -
Deactivated Rare Smith and Wesson Model 57 .41 Magnum Revolver. In very good deactivated condition, with 4 inch barrel, custom combat sights, and custom hardwood grips. Latest EU spec, so moving trigger, hammer, and revolving clear cylinder, but non firing action. The Smith and Wesson Model 57 .41 Magnum Revolver was introduced in 1964 and is still in production. It is built on the classic N Frame and is outwardly indistinguishable from the Model 29 .44 Magnum, except for the barrel markings. The .41 Magnum was designed to fill the gap between the .357 and .44 Magnum as the `ultimate’ police cartridge. It was designed by the late, great Elmer Keith but was never really accepted by the law enforcement community. However, it is still very popular with hunters and target shooters, who like both its flat trajectory and power. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
