The Smith and Wesson CS9 is part of the third generation range of semi autos produced by the factory. CS stands for Chiefs Special and they are aimed at concealed carry law enforcement concealed carry types, with all sharp edges removed for a smooth draw. They are designed to be highly concealable, yet fire the powerful 9mm Parabellum round, which is rapidly gaining in popularity, and is an excellent man stopper, without over penetration issues. Smith and Wesson’s are in use all over the world and have an excellent reputation for being well made and very reliable. Several US police departments issue these pistols to their plain clothes officers.
