Deactivated SIG STG-57 Assault Rifle SN. 0059 *

Availability: In stock

£650.00

Quick Overview

Deactivated Swiss SIG STG-57 7.5mm Assault Rifle in very good deactivated condition, with non moving parts. The SIG STG-57 entered service with the Swiss armed forces in 1953 and was in service until 1990. Like all Swiss weapons, it was made to the highest standards and had features that made other soldiers green with envy and were years ahead of their time. These included, fold down, micro adjustable sights, tritium night sights, fold down winter trigger, recoil buffer, two position fold up bipod (front or rear options), no gas system (delayed roller locked blowback action), and built in grenade launcher! Couple all this with outstanding build quality and the excellent 7.5mm Swiss service round and you have a weapon that is extremely accurate out to 800 metres with iron sights and very, very reliable. One of the best assault rifles ever made. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
