Deactivated SIG 552 Commando

Deactivated SIG 552 Commando 5.56mm NATO Assault Rifle in excellent condition, with moving trigger and selector. Complete with Picatinny scope mount, genuine Brugger and Thomet RIS handguard, original polymer handguard and spare magazine. The SIG 552 Commando first appeared in 1998 and was the cut down version of the SIG 550 intended for use by commando and SWAT units. The operating system is based on the Kalashnikov but everything else is pure Swiss engineering. The fit and finish are excellent, the 3 round burst mechanism is simple but strong and the handling of the gun is very user friendly. They were not as widely adopted as the various M4s (mainly due to price), but put them both to shame and are a favourite with top elite units, like SEAL Team 6. An outstanding battle rifle and a superb design. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom, and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
