Deactivated SIG 542 Assault Rifle

Deactivated Old Spec SIG 542 7.62 mm NATO Assault Rifle in excellent deactivated condition, with very rare SIG STANAG Scope Mount and Bushnell Scope. The SIG 542 Assault Rifle was the 7.62 mm NATO version of the Sig 540 series. Because of Swiss law, it was made in France by Manhurin and they have been used by over 20 countries and are still license made in Chile. The operating system is based on the Kalashnikov but everything else is pure Swiss engineering. The fit and finish are excellent, the 3 round burst mechanism is simple but strong and the handling of the gun is very user friendly. They were not as widely adopted as the FAL or G3 (mainly due to price), but put them to shame. An outstanding battle rifle and a superb design. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom, and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
