Deactivated Schmidt-Rubin Carbine SN. 8854 /

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Deactivated Swiss Schmidt-Rubin 7.5mm straight pull Carbine in very good deactivated condition, with matching numbers receiver and bolt. The Schmidt-Rubin straight pulls were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 to 1953. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt. This, along with their large magazine made them the most advanced manually operated infantry rifle in use from the turn of the century until the mid 1950s. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
