Deactivated Saudi.38 Special Bodyguard. In excellent deactivated condition. This is essentially a direct copy of the Smith & Wesson Model 38 revolver, made in Saudi Arabia to a very high standard. The Smith & Wesson Model 38 Bodyguard is basically the same as the Chiefs Special but has an aluminium frame, for lightness, and a shrouded hammer which allows the weapon to be carried inside a pocket and fired without the risk of the hammer snagging. It also makes for a very smooth draw from a concealed carry holster for the same reason. These are still very popular backup guns for police in America and is one of my personal favourites for personal defence in low risk environments. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
