Deactivated Pair of Engraved Colt Navy .36 Calibre Black Powder Revolvers. Complete in a velvet lined hardwood case and complete with all the accessories needed to keep shooting. These include percussion caps, felt wads, .36 calibre shot, a powder flask, cleaning rods and brushes, oil flask, screwdriver and a nipple cleaner. Italian reproduction in very good deactivated condition with full working action. The Colt 1851 Navy revolver was first introduced in 1850 and remained in production until 1873. They were used extensively in the American Civil War and were predominantly issued to Union troops. Captured examples were much sought after by the confederacy as their copies were of inferior quality. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
