Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Deactivated Old Spec VZ-37 HMG. Non EU sales Only. Can be re-deactivated to EU/ UK spec. Deactivated Czech VZ 37 7.92mm Medium Machine Gun in very good deactivated condition, with tripod, which can be converted for Anti Aircraft use. The VZ 37, or ZB53, was adopted by the Czechoslovakian army in 1937. It was an air cooled weapon that was designed to replace the Maxim guns then in use. It was adopted by the Nazis, when they annexed Czechoslovakia, and they used it up until the end of the war. They gave it the designation MG37 T. It was a very reliable design and was interesting as it allowed the user to adjust the rate of fire by 250 rounds per minute, as required, via swinging out the buffer group. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
