Deactivated Old Spec Belgian Vigneron Sub Machine Gun in excellent deactivated condition. The Vigneron M2 entered service with the Belgian army and police in 1953 and stayed in service until the late 1980s. It was a conventional blowback design that was well made and reliable. It had better accuracy than most, as it had a rather long barrel. It also was quite user friendly, in that the stock could be adjusted for length and it also had a grip safety and dust cover. On the auto setting, it was still possible to fire in semiautomatic with only a light squeeze of the trigger. A quality weapon and still seen quite a bit in Central Africa. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
