Non EU sales Only. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec. Deactivated Old Spec San Christobal .30 Cal Carbine in good deactivated condition. The San Christobal Carbine was developed in the Dominican Republic and entered service in 1950. It was basically a copy of the Beretta 38/44 SMG, but designed to fire the US .30 Calibre carbine bullet, which was an excellent idea, seeing as the Beretta 38 was one of the best SMG’s of WWII and the .30 Carbine round had the range and power of a .357 Magnum. It also made use of the M1 Carbine magazines. It was a serviceable weapon and was noted for its use in the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba by CIA backed paramilitaries. Its most famous user was Che Guevara, the famous revolutionary. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec.
