Deactivated Old Spec Nazi MG34 7.92mm General Purpose Machine Gun with very rare 243 code Mauser production, 1940 dated, 85% matching numbers, and aluminium grips. The receiver and barrel shroud have the ability to split into two halves, and all in excellent overall deactivated condition. The MG34 entered service with the German army in 1934 and continued in production until the end of the war. It was the world’s first General Purpose Machine Gun and led the way forward in squad tactics and infantry doctrine that is still in use to this day. They were extremely well made, reliable and virtually indestructible when well maintained. It is a historically significant weapon in every way. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec.
