Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Deactivated Rare Old Spec M1 Garand 30-06 Calibre Sniper Rifle in very good overall deactivated condition. This is the exceedingly rare sniper version if the Garand. As well as WWII, they also saw service in Korea and Vietnam. The M1 Garand was the first semi-automatic rifle to be issued to armed forces of any nation. Called "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S. Patton, the Garand entered service in 1936 and was officially replaced by the M14 in 1957. However, the M1 continued to be used in large numbers until 1963 and was a reserve weapon until 1966. They are utterly reliable, very, very accurate and very powerful. A real rifleman’s rifle and still a valued rifle to this day by shooters all over the world. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
