Deactivated Old Spec Lewis Gun SN. 6998 ^
Non EU sales Only. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec. Deactivated Lewis .303 Machine Gun. In very good deactivated condition. 1913 dated BSA production, and profusely broad arrow and British Army stamped. The Lewis gun entered service with British and Commonwealth forces in 1914. It was the first practical one man portable machine gun and stood up well to the atrocious conditions of the western front. They were still in use in WWII, mostly with the Royal Navy, but Empire army units still made use of them right on up to the Korean War. An absolute classic. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec.
