These rifles, in all their various versions, were the second most widely adopted assault rifle on earth. Only the Kalashnikov has seen wider service. They were called 'the right hand of the free world' and have been used all over the globe. They are all basically the same, and the differences tend to be in styles of furniture, barrel length and flash hiders etc, but they are all the same basic excellent design, and they are still the main issue weapon of over 20 countries.
