Deactivated Old Spec British Heckler and Koch MP5A3 9mm Sub Machine Gun in very good, original deactivated condition, with Bolt Head and Rollers intact. April 1972 Royal Enfield manufacture, and complete with correct HK R3 sling. The Heckler and Koch MP5 was introduced in 1964 and within 15 years had made obsolete every other SMG on the planet for the next 40 years. The reason for this is three-fold. Firstly, it fires from a closed bolt, so is very accurate out to 150 metres. Secondly, it is extremely reliable with all types of ammunition. Thirdly, the SAS used it during the Iranian embassy siege in front of the world’s press and sales went through the roof. Nowadays, it is the standard SWAT and CRW/ CQB SMG all over the free world. They are also able to accept a whole host of clip on/ off accessories which allows the operator to fine tune the weapon for a specific tasking. An absolute classic design and a must have for the serious collector. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
