Quick Overview

Non EU sales Only. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec. Deactivated Soviet DP28 7.62mm light Machine Gun. 1944 dated Izhmash production, and in good deactivated condition. The Soviet DP LMG went into production in 1928 and soon gained an excellent reputation for reliability. It was also quite light, when compared to other machine guns of the time. In 1944 the design was simplified for ease of manufacture and based on combat experience. This model was called the DPM (M for modification, nearly the same word in Russian). They continued in service with Warsaw Pact and CHICOM forces until the mid 1970s and can still be found in many third world conflicts to this day. Last seen in action during the break up of the former Yugoslavia. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec.
