Non EU sales Only. Can be redeactivated to EU/ UK spec. Deactivated Old Spec Colt New Service .455 Calibre Revolver in excellent overall deactivated condition. Colt New Service revolvers chambered for the .455 Eley round were acquired for issue by the British War Department during World War One. British Colt New Service Revolvers were stamped "NEW SERVICE .455 ELEY" on the barrel, to differentiate them from the .45 Colt versions used by the US Army. 60,000 Colt New Service revolvers were supplied to British and Canadian forces during WWI, and they continued to see official service with the USA, and unofficial service with the UK and Commonwealth forces until the end of World War II.
