Deactivated Nazi G43 Rifle SN. H787 ^
Deactivated Nazi G43 7.92mm Rifle in good overall deactivated condition, with matching numbers receiver and bolt. Latest EU spec, with moving cocking handle (under spring pressure), trigger and removable magazine. The G43 was a development of the earlier and more unreliable G41 and entered service with the Wehrmacht in late 1943. 400,000 were made between 1943 and 1945, with the later examples being of a very rough finish as standards degraded. After the Nazi invasion of Russia in 1941 and encountering whole battalions of Soviets armed with the SVT, the Nazis realised that they needed to offer their infantry soldiers a semi automatic rifle and the G43 was the final result. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
