Deactivated Nambu Type 14 Pistol SN. 6264^

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Deactivated Nambu Type 14 8mm Pistol in good, original deactivated condition. September 1937 dated, with all the correct markings still present. The original Nambu Pistol was designed by General Kijiro Nambu in 1902. It went through several changes until the Type 14 was introduced in 1925 (the 14th year of the reign of the Emperor Taishō). It served until the end of WWII and was reportedly a very accurate gun that lent itself well to instinctive shooting. Only around 200,000 Nambu’s were ever made and most did not survive the bitter fighting of the Pacific war. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
