Deactivated Nambu Type 14 8mm Pistol in excellent, original deactivated condition. Complete with correct, original holster, The original Nambu Pistol was designed by General Kijiro Nambu in 1902. It went through several changes until the Type 14 was introduced in 1925 (the 14th year of the reign of the Emperor Taishō). It served until the end of WWII and was reportedly a very accurate gun that lent itself well to instinctive shooting. Only around 200,000 Nambus were ever made and most did not survive the bitter fighting of the Pacific war. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
