.
Deactivated Russian Maxim PM1910 7.62mm Medium Machine Gun. Rare, early example with no filler cap or shield and in good deactivated condition. As its name suggests, the PM1910 entered service with the Russian Army in 1910 and served with the red army until at least the 1970s. They were the Russian version of Hiram Maxims famous water cooled MMG that he first introduced to the world in 1889. There were many different versions and adaptions, but the general layout and operating principles remained the same in all models. They were utterly reliable and capable of extreme sustained fire for long periods of time in all climates and conditions. A total classic. Please Note: P+P on this item is £60. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
