Deactivated Chinese SKS 7.62mm M43 Soviet Calibre Rifle in very good deactivated condition, with full matching numbers, moving trigger and safety. Complete with cleaning kit (in the butt), and sling. The SKS entered service in the Soviet Union in 1945, but was too late to take any real part in the war. It fired the new Soviet 7.62x43mm rifle round and was much lighter and handier than the SVT40, which preceded it. They were more accurate than the AK47 family, as they had longer barrels, and are very reliable weapons. They can still be found in third world conflicts to this day. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
